R & G Timber Components is a family business, established in 1972. For over 50 years they have been a leading supplier of high quality wood components for the furniture industry, to companies such as Parker Furniture, Brown Dog Furniture, Cosh Living and Zuster and other major furniture companies in the Melbourne and surrounding areas.
Over time, as cheaper imports from China became more prevalent and many Australian furniture businesses closed down, R & G Timber Components has struck out on its own and now sells its products direct to the public. Their custom wood components are used by architects for projects such as hotel and restaurant re-fitting, major commercial interiors and private home decorations and renovations.

With close to 50 years industry experience both Ray and Gay Lennon have grown R & G Timber Components from humble beginning to creating products showcased in the display rooms and homes around Australia and overseas.
Their high level of detail and personalised experience for their clients has led to a local range of loyal business and individuals, some having their custom timber products made by R & G for over 35 years.

Our team brings decades of practical experience in timber machining, custom furniture manufacturing, and architectural woodwork, supported by advanced machinery and precision manufacturing processes. Equipped with CNC technology, spindle moulders, panel saws, thicknessers, and specialised timber machining equipment, we are able to produce complex timber components with consistency and accuracy. From intricate reproduction work and custom joinery to large commercial fit-outs and bespoke furniture projects, our skilled craftsmen deliver high-quality timber solutions tailored to exact specifications, combining durability, function, and refined finish.
